What is a Vocation?

There are four ‘categories’ of vocation that the Church uses to help us discern God’s plan: marriage, single life, priesthood and religious life. For more information, access the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney's 'What is Vocation' on the link below.

Non Fiction Collection

Search the catalogue for your chosen martyr, missionary or memorable moment. In general, books on saints and significant individuals in the church can be found at 235-270.

The subject headings in Oliver can sometimes be a little tricky. For example, the saints are all listed by name, saint. E.g. Agnus, Saint. Sometimes they can also include where the saint is from, e.g. Polycarp, of Smyrna, Saint.
