Technologies Guides: Yr 12 - Report: Digital assets

Common Task Report - Digital Assets

Report Question: Does the intellectual property of digital assets and the asset itself, have monetary and or artistic value, as opposed to components of systems?

Independently research a topic of your choice from the list below and submit your findings in a research report. Your report must include sources, and use the Harvard referencing system.

1. Develop a hypothesis outlining the issue to be evaluated.

2. You will select, identify, organise and explain research in your selected area from stakeholder viewpoints (from news articles and other sources) and other relevant wider research (e.g. statistics).

3. You will critically analyse and synthesise your research findings in order to evaluate the issue highlighted in your hypothesis and draw evidence based conclusions. Provide valid evidence about the implications the pandemic had on the production/distribution of games or the effect of the pandemic on game play. Make recommendations about production, distribution or game play based on the premise that the pandemic may continue.

4. Use your research to critically analyse the historical and cultural influence of a pandemic to disruptive innovation on individual and social utility by analysing one of three situations below.

5. Create an annotated reference list for anything that you cite in your report. Do not include references that are not cited in your report. Use https://stcc.libguides.com/c.php?g=855358&p=6746313 the Lib Guides from the College library to assist you with your research as well.
