In your experimental investigation, you will be required work in pairs to design and conduct an investigation to determine the effectiveness of various sunscreens.
The introduction section of your report requires you to introduce the topic and – where appropriate – relates the project to a real life question or issue. It should include any background information (the science) that a reader would need to know in order to understand the investigation and why it is important.
Questions to think about for your research:
Skin is the external barrier between animals and the outside world, protecting vertebrates from extremes of temperature, the harmful effects of UV and a host of living organisms that want to get in.
